1. The Service
TribeTrip is an iOS mobile application that allows groups of people to manage shared expenses during trips: record expenses, calculate balances, and coordinate settlements between participants.
The service is provided free of charge, with the option to make voluntary contributions to support its development. TribeTrip reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with prior notice.
2. Eligibility
To create a registered account you must be at least 16 years old. TribeTrip also supports anonymous use with limited functionality.
By using the app you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information in your profile.
- Not use the app for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
- Not attempt to access trips or user data you have not been invited to.
- Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the application.
- Not overload or interfere with the service infrastructure.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at legadevel@gmail.com.
TribeTrip may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, with prior notice unless the violation is serious or urgent.
4. Financial Data and Calculations
TribeTrip calculates balances and debts between participants based on the data you and other members enter. These calculations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, accounting, or legal advice.
Users are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of the data they enter and for managing their own payment obligations with each other. TribeTrip does not intervene in economic transactions between users.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you add to the app (names, amounts, receipt photos, documents). By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service.
You may not upload content that infringes third-party rights, is unlawful, or is offensive. TribeTrip may remove content that violates these terms.
6. Privacy
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
7. Intellectual Property
TribeTrip, its design, logo, source code, and documentation are the exclusive property of the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
TribeTrip is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable Spanish law, all implied warranties are disclaimed.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the developer of TribeTrip be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service, including data loss or financial disputes between users of the app.
Total maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to TribeTrip in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or €10 if no payment has been made).
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will notify you via an in-app notice or by email at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the app after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts under applicable Spanish legislation.
